Since the birth of little Matthew Jr. things have went very well. I am getting the hang of his eating patterns, the way he likes to be burped and laid down and also how to manage night times.

He is a great little man.

We’ve been so lucky to have such a giving church family. So far we haven’t had to cook a dinner since we’ve had Matthew and we’ve had enough left over's from those meals to take care of most lunches as well. We are so blessed to have this church family.

Matthew was born on the 9th and the girls went back with Grandpa to stay with them for a few days so me and Bob could have some rest and bonding time with Matthew. They came back with the girls on that following Saturday. We celebrated Anabel’s 4th that Saturday. Saturday was very fun but i was surprised how tired and sore i was afterwards. My body wasn’t use to picking up Abby as much as i did that day.

That Sunday i was on my own during the service. Bob had to take care of the slides so he was sitting in the back at the computer and i was with Matthew and the girls. Luckily i was smart enough to bring the moby wrap with me and i had Matthew in the wrap during the worship service. Abby was in underwear so i told the nursery lady to txt me if she needed to use the potty and i would come and take her. Not long after the service started i got the potty txt. When i was in the middle of taking Abby to the potty Matthew started fussing in his moby wrap. So once we got back to the nursery i had to feed him. Once done feeding him i noticed his clothes were wet. LOL he had blown out his diaper, very messy. The whole time i was changing his diaper and cloths he screamed…. the whole service probably heard it I'm sure, although when i asked a friend she only said ‘a little’ hehe. Oh well, that’s how it goes with a baby :) By the time i got back out in the service there wasn’t much sermon left lol

Today we are sort of doing a test day. By that i mean i am taking of the girls pretty much all by myself along with Matthew, to see how i can manage.

So far things have been going great. Today things have been lining up… like Matthew will be asleep during meals and times when i need to be up with the girls. He’s been sleeping by himself in his pack’n’play which has given me time to do dishes, laundry and cleaning not to mention cuddle time with each of my girls. I’m glad still to get one on one time with the girls…. i know that is very important.

I’m proud of myself for keeping up on the dishes and all the laundry, laundry being the big thing.

One thing i have noticed starting yesterday… it’s starting to look like Matthew has the same tear duct issue that Anabel had and looks like in the exact same eye as well. He’s been getting a lot of gunk in his left eye and sometimes even wakes up with it gunked shut just like Anabel’s use to do. Luckily Anabel’s cleared up but not for at least a year :( We have started the warm rag and massaging the tear duct. Hopefully his clears up quicker then Anabel’s did. At least we have been there, done that, so understand what is going on.

On a side note i weight myself today. I’m 112, two pounds off my pre-baby weight. So YAY! That means i don’t have all this extra weight to work off once i start working out ^_^ That makes me one happy camper!
